As a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am committed to delivering up-to-date treatment options within a safe, inclusive, and collaborative setting. Holding a Master of Science in Nursing from UCSF, my expertise spans integrative psychiatry, ketamine therapy, and reproductive psychiatry. My own mental health struggles not only shaped my approach to care but also deepened my understanding of the patient experience. I’ve felt the frustration that comes with psychiatric appointments that feel rushed and dismissive, often resulting in quick medication changes or new prescriptions. Equally, I've experienced the discomfort of being judged by alternative medicine practitioners for using psychiatric medication while they promoted a range of supplements and rigid dietary plans. These encounters have underscored for me the critical importance of a balanced approach that treats patients with the respect they deserve and avoids stigmatizing those seeking help.

My mental health has greatly benefited from a mix of medication, mindfulness, yoga, and ketamine therapy. These elements, which have been pivotal in my recovery, inform the treatment options I offer. I design customized plans for each patient, tailored to their preferences and needs. These plans incorporate a blend of psychotherapy, appropriate medication, herbal remedies, supplements, and lifestyle counseling to enhance overall quality of life. I advocate for the use of psychiatric medications as part of a broader, holistic treatment plan rather than as isolated remedies. At the heart of my practice is a deep commitment to fostering trust, openness, and a truly patient-centered approach to mental health care.
